- Starting Pay: $28.00 per hour
- Reports To: Property Manager or Lead Maintenance Technician
- Position Summary: Ensure apartment units, common areas, and grounds remain safe, clean, and fully operational for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- HVAC Upkeep: Conduct basic diagnostic checks and troubleshooting on residential heating and cooling units.
- Turnover Maintenance: Repair and prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins, including painting, drywall patching, and light carpentry.
- Work Orders: Complete daily resident service requests for minor plumbing leaks, clogged drains, and broken fixtures.
- Grounds & Amenities: Maintain the pool area, clear walkways, and remove trash from common spaces and leasing offices.
- Emergency Response: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent after-hours maintenance issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: EPA Section 608 or HVAC Certification (Must-have).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of residential apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, and spend the day walking or standing.
- Other Requirements: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are often required for on-site transport.
