This position supports the maintenance and management teams by ensuring common areas are clean, assisting with basic make-ready tasks, and providing outstanding service to residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, self-driven, and thrives in a team environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, leasing office, restrooms, clubhouses, fitness centers, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform daily groundskeeping duties such as trash pickup, sweeping, blowing, and ensuring curb appeal.
- Assist with basic make-ready tasks, including:
- Trash-out of vacated units
- Light cleaning
- Minor repairs or touch-ups under direction of the maintenance team
- Replacement of basic fixtures, filters, light bulbs, etc.
- Support maintenance staff with work order prep, inventory organization, and special projects.
- Monitor the property for safety hazards and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop, equipment, and storage areas.
- Uphold all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards set by the community.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the community with professionalism.
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial work, or similar role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and minor maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, well-kept property.
- Highly reliable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently when needed.
- A positive team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred (community-specific).
